Take 401 to Kitchener
Take Hwy 8 Conestoga Freeway (First exit into Kitchener)
Take Hwy 7&8 West Towards STRATFORD
Turn LEFT (south) onto Wilmot-Easthope Rd.1, it's the last set of
lights past New Hamburg. This road goes west through Tavistock and
is called Perth Line # 26. You are about 10 minutes away when
you are in Tavistock . Continuing west on Perth Line #26 you
will come to a dip in the road where there is a flashing yellow light at
HARMONY, go through it and the next flashing yellow light
is Perth Road 113, the Embro Rd. That is the corner we live on, you may enter from the house
driveway or continue under the light and turn RIGHT in at the kennel,
immediately , through the intersection. You will see two white
signs with green lettering on the lawn and under the spruce
trees. Either entrance works well. I will hear the barking
and will be out shortly if I am not already there!

Travelling WEST
on Hwy 402 to the STRATHROY exit Stratford is West (left)
over the highway. You are on Rd. 81 (CENTRE Rd.) Turn
Right onto PETTY RD. number #19 & continue heading north
through NAIRN . At AILSA CRAIG turn EAST (right) onto HW#7
ELGINFIELD RD. which takes you through Elginfield North of
London. Continue EAST on Elginfield RD. and you will join
HW#119 as you come into a long left hand curve which goes past
Wildwood Lake over a dam. You are less than 10 minutes to
Stratford from here. Turn RIGHT onto PERTH LINE 26 called the
TAVISTOCK RD. There is a small farm equipment dealership on the
North corner. Continue EAST on this road past gravel pits and a
small curve in the road. Look
to the left and you will see the kennel building, It's brown
brick and two floors high surrounded by a 6' high chain link
security fence!
We are on the corner of Perth Line 26 ( the Tavistock
Road) and Perth Road 113 (the Embro Rd.)
There is a flashing yellow light over the intersection. |
Travelling west
on Hwy 401 to
Exit 222 A little over two hours from Windsor, passing
four exits to LONDON.
Turn LEFT (north) at EXIT 222 (the EMBRO Road) to
Oxford Line 6 (becomes Perth County road 113) through the
village of Embro. It is approximately 20-25 minutes up the road
to get to our place heading NORTH on OXFORD RD. # 6.
We are on the corner of Perth Line 26 (the
Tavistock Road )and Perth 113 Road (the Embro Road) There is a
flashing red light over the intersection. Look to the left and
you will see the kennel building. It's brown brick and two
floors high surrounded by a 6' chain link security fence! WE
have a white sign with green lettering on it , under the spruce
trees and another sign on the front lawn. You may enter the
driveway past the house or turn left and immediately right
through the gates at the kennel. |

Driving
from Stratford
Travelling SOUTH out of Stratford
on Erie Street you will pass a Tim Hortons, Mc Donalds, Boston
Pizza and a large TOYOTA car dealership on the left hand side of
the road, followed by a set of traffic lights. The road is clearly
marked with a green highway sign, Perth road 113, the Embro
Road. Turn LEFT at those TRAFFIC LIGHTS and go past the first side road, you will come
into curves in the road and the house is on the
right hand side, just before you get to the intersection that
has a red flashing light and stop sign. Our emergency number is
#3404. Name on the mailbox is WATSON and there is a large
white sign with green lettering on the front lawn, DaMax Kennels Boarding
,Training & Day Care. You can go past the house down our
lane that is to the left of the house. I will hear the barking
and be with you shortly!

Directions from Hw. 8 West
Coming into Stratford from Sebringville
you will come to a set of traffic lights on the corner of
O'Loane Ave. & Hw. #8 Turn right and go one concession, over
a small bridge to a stop sign. Turn left onto LORNE Ave.
continue past the SOBEYS' mall over the tracks to the ERIE
STREET TRAFFIC LIGHTS. MERGE RIGHT and go to the next set of
TRAFFIC LIGHTS, the Embro
Rd. Turn left and go to the intersection with a FLASHING
RED LIGHT. Our house is the last one on the right. Our emergency
number is #3404 and there is a large white sign with green
lettering DaMax Boarding,
Training & Day Care on the front lawn. |
