Head Start Classes are held at your convenience
with sessions of over one hour in length covering anything from puppy
and crate training to changing behaviour problems of older dogs. OUR
CLASSES COVER THE BASICS YOU
WILL NEED TO UNDERSTAND WHY YOUR DOG DOES WHAT IT DOES. WE HELP TEACH
THE HUMANS HOW TO MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR TRAINING
EFFORTS WITH CLEAR COMMUNICATION AND FOLLOW THROUGH.
OUR BALANCED TRAINING IS
BASED ON MUTUAL RESPECT AND LEADERSHIP, NOT WHO HAS THE BEST TREATS
! LURING AS A REWARD CAN BE USEFUL FOR PUPS BUT IT SHOULDN'T BE
YOUR LAST STEP!
All you have to do is
choose one day to come out & visit with your
family & your pet. The cost is
$150. + $19.50 HST= $169.50 for the consultation
which includes a 60 page training manual. The DaMax visit to your home is
$175. + $22.75 HST= $197.75 Telephone consults
are always included in the fee! I have added a traveling fee of .50 cents per kilometer.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but my Head Start
sessions have been getting farther away from here and as the demand
increases for my services, so does the price of gas! I use Google maps for the
mileage so it is a print out with estimated times and distances.
Anyone that has already completed a HEAD START
class may repeat a visit for $10. less, a second training manual
will be deducted from the cost.

Are
you coming to the Festival? Short or long stays welcome! Call
to see if we are able to accommodate your pet or direct you to
another kennel, while you relax and enjoy a
show! Evening performances during
the week are charged $25./dog Drop off your dog by
6pm. and pick your dog up by 11:30pm. or so. We
don't do weekend evening performances, unless the dog can be in the
kennel by 11am. on the day of the scheduled performance. We
do not do weekend matinees. We apologize for any
inconvenience! Thank you for understanding that the weekends are our
family time.

For everyone that knew her and were amazed
by her skills as a teacher, we are deeply saddened by her passing on
June 30th. 2009. She was the dog that convinced me I was a trainer,
she did everything she was asked and so much more....words cannot
express how much we miss her.
